The Student Steel Bridge Competition (SBBC) is a program sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).

The goal is to design, fabricate and erect a steel bridge based on the 2019 Rules document that describes the competition and states the official rules. At competition, bridges are usually judged on construction time, weight, stiffness, load capacity, as well as aesthetics.

AISC works with host schools to plan the Regional Events and the National Finals.
